I spoke to my auto insurance company because my lawyer took two months to file my personal injury protection claim. However, another month has passed and I have heard nothing from my lawyer about my case even though I call his office every week. So, today I received a letter in the mail from my lawyer office to my claim insurance person. It has her name on it but my address so I am not sure if it was intentionally sent that way or not. Yet, I read over it and it tells my insurance claim to pay the PIP directly to me and not to the medical company. What do I do about this? My water heater needs to be replaced (electric) I have a warranty insurance that will replace it however there are a few non covered costs - the pan, the permit, some other part, it will cost me $512.00. SO I WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT, I WAITED 90 DAYS TO GO TO THE DOCTOR, I JUST THOUGHT THE PAIN COULD HAVE BEEN FROM ANYTHING,. ON TOP OF THAT, II HAVE NEVER LIKED LAWERS, OR DOCTORS, AND I HAVE NEVER BEEN ONE TO TRY TO GET OVER ON OTHERS. BUT AS THE WINTER BECAME SUMMER, AND THE WEATHER STARSTED TO BREAK, THE PAIN WAS STILL THERE. SO I DECIDED TO SEEK A DOCTOR FOR PAIN IN MY RIGHT SHOULDER AND RIGHT KNEE ANYWAY TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT. THE INSUREANCE COMPANY SAID, I WAITED TO LONG, AND THEY GAVE ME AN LAME OFFER OF 500, MY LAWYER THOUGHT ITS WAS A JOKE, SO MY LAWER TOOK THE CASE TO COURT FOR 25 THOUSAND. AND WE ASKED FOR A JURY, AND I HAD 4 PEOPLE THAT WAS GOING TO TESTIFY ON MY BEHALF, NOW THE INSURACE COMPANY HAS MADE AN OFFER, SO...............MY QUESTION TO THE EXPERTS IS,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, WHAT DO U THINK THE 2ND OFFER WILL BE, AND SHOULD I TAKE IT

Maternity related services considered inpatient for insurance?

Most individual plans (87%) do not offer maternity coverage. I was fortunate enough to still be covered under an old employer by paying COBRA, and a majority of my expenses were covered. I had twins and had to have a C-Section. So now that I know I'm most likely to have a C-Section again, and who knows, another set of twins! (complete surprise) and am still of child bearing age. I am now under an individual plan, that does not offer maternity coverage. I was reading under the 'Inpatient' services and it listed this: Unlimited coverage is provided for medically necessary physician and surgeon services, semi-private rooms, operating rooms and related facilities, intensive and coronary care units, laboratory, x-rays, radiology services and procedures, medications and biologicals, anesthesia, special duty nursing as prescribed, short-term rehabilitation services, nursing care, meals and special diets So anyone who has experience or knowledge, would something like a C-Section be covered under inpatient? What does maternity coverage only cover normally. That $60*** bill scares me! Also, I keep reading about a new health care bill effective 2014 where individual plans must include maternity as an essential benefit. Anyone have any more details about that? State specific etc?

Basically i passed my test in may and it is my 19th in 2 weeks, my mum just bought a car for my birthday which is in perfect running order and good condition as it was owned my an old bloke. It is a ford fiesta lx 1.2 s plate (98), Ive been searching around and have come to the conclusion that haggling on the phone will get the cheapest quotes. Just wanted to ask if anyone has the same car and how they got on insuring it, and if anyone has any suggestions for the cheapest way of insuring the car and the cheapest providers for all types of cover. All suggestions are welcome apart from the ones about tracking devices as i have seen people being billed incorrectly and in some cases that i have seen, increased the insurance to well over other quotes! Can I afford motorcycle insurance?

So here is my situation: I currently own a 2003 Toyota Matrix that I make payments on. In between the payments and the insurance and gas, it costs about $350 a month to have that car. For the last couple years I've been really interested in getting a motorcycle, specifically a newer Kawasaki. According to my research, I could find a Kawasaki Ninja 250cc for somewhere around $3000. My question is basically how much insurance do I need? Right now I have comprehensive coverage for my car so that if I'm in a wreck and it's totaled I can replace it. If I had a bike AND my car though, I don't want replacement coverage for a secondary vehicle (even one as cool as a motorcycle). I got quotes from Geico and State Farm that put my minimum amount of insurance a month in the neighborhood of around $30. Does this sound accurate to anyone? Also, can anyone just give me some sound advice about owning both vehicles and whether it's worth it?

Car Accident in Michigan and no insurace?

I was in a car accident in Michigan and did not have car insurance, police did come, i did not recieve any tickets and it was determined that it was not my fault but my car is messed up pretty bad and so is the other car, now i am wondering even though the other driver said it was his fault and said his insurance would pay for it I know does not neccisarily mean that it will, but I did read somewhere that I might be counter sued, or that i may just have to pay his deductable, does anyone have any insight about this and what I should expect or expect nothing at all, yes i know i should not of been driving a vehile without atleast plpd but the car is not mine and not in my name so please no rude comments just asking for advice about the situation.
